Guatemala Junior & Cadet Open - ITTF Junior Circuit

Successful ITTF Junior Circuit Debut, Same Again Promised in Guatemala
Guatemala once again welcomes aspiring young players to its shores, the
Guatemala Junior and Cadet Open will be staged from Wednesday 4th to
Saturday 7th August 2010.

A fast developing nation in the sport of table tennis, all participants can
be assured of a well organised tournament in Guatemala City, will hotels not
far distant from both airport and venue; furthermore, once you have finished
your exertions in Guatemala then you can take the scenic bus route to
neighbouring El Salvador for the next ITTF Junior Circuit tournament on the
calendar.

In 2009 Guatemala hosted its first ITTF Junior Circuit tournament and also
provided the home for the Latin American Junior and Cadet Championships;
both competitions proved successful, the same can be expected in 2010; an
increasingly experienced team is ready to deliver.
Not only does the Guatemala Junior and Cadet Open provide an opportunity for
aspiring players from Pan America to experience intense competition, it is a
chance for those from beyond to seek valuable points as the year approaches
a climax and eyes are set firmly on a place in the ITTF Junior Circuit
Finals in India.

ITTF Junior Circuit, 4th - 7th August
The Guatemala Junior & Cadet Open will feature singles, double and team
events in the junior and cadet categories.

Prize Fund
The Guatemala Table Tennis Association offers a total of US$2,000 in prize
money. No taxes deduction as per national laws.

ITTF Elite Training Camp, 1st - 3rd August
The Swedish ITTF expert Emanuel Christiansson will lead the official ITTF
Training Camp that will be held from 1st to 3rd August in the same
facilities. He will be assisted by Carlos Esnard of El Salvador.
