El Salvador Junior & Cadet Open 2010 - ITTF Global Junior Circuit

El Salvador led the way; could a small Central American country host a
global event?

The answer came very clearly in 2005 when El Salvador took the plunge and
organised most successfully the “Super Five”, a series of events which
featured an ITTF Junior Circuit tournament alongside a series of training
camps, coaching sessions and competitions.

Not only was it a series of events, it was a very successful series of
events.

The trend was set, the media responded, the local organising committee was
motivated and from that day forth the El Salvador has grown in strength,
with players from both Europe and Asia having visited the principal city of
San Salvador for an increasingly popular ITTF Junior Circuit tournament.
A tremendous competition is promised and one fact is certain: the
hospitality, in a country blessed with beautiful weather, the warmest
welcome possible awaits.

ITTF Junior Circuit, 12th – 15th August
The El Salvador Junior & Cadet Open will feature singles, double and team
events in the junior and cadet categories.

ITTF Elite Training Camp, 09th – 11th August
The Swedish ITTF expert Emanuel Christiansson will lead the official ITTF
Training Camp that will be held from 09th to 11th August in the same
facilities. He will be assisted by Marcos Nuñez of Chile.

Prize Fund
The El Salvador Table Tennis Association offers a total of US$2,000 in prize
money. No taxes deduction as per national laws.
